Merritt Airport Day
Saturday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
On behalf of the Merritt Airport Day organizing team, I’d like to invite your club to participate in Merritt Airport Day on Saturday, September 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Merritt Airport. This annual community event highlights aviation, emergency services, and local history. It’s a fantastic chance for the public to meet pilots and see aircraft up close — always a major highlight for families and aviation enthusiasts alike. In addition to static displays of airplanes, helicopters, vintage vehicles, and emergency services equipment, the day will feature food trucks, local vendors, and special activities. We’d love to have the Chilliwack Flying Club represented, with members flying in, displaying aircraft, and sharing your love of aviation with the community. Please let us know if your group would like to join us, and if there are any logistical considerations we can help with to make your participation easy and enjoyable. The Penticton Flying Club is Promoting and Supporting General Aviation
The Penticton Flying Club is a non-instructing flying club dedicated to the promotion of aviation. We sponsor educational and social events and involve our members in all of these.
Our club is also a member of the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association, better known as COPA Flight 50.
The Penticton Flying Club owns a 1971 Cessna 172L. Our 172 is available for rent to those members who have met all necessary insurance and club requirements.

The Penticton Flying Club offers aircraft parking with access to power and water for members on an annual basis. We have the lowest rental rates in the interior of BC. For long and short term Parking inquiries see the Contact page to get in touch with the right person.
